This is a group for people who have practiced Centering Prayer or other forms of Christian meditation and are still struggling to abide in silence. Kristine will lead this 6-9 month class and guide students through steps of Buddhist meditation leading to equanimity. Each class builds upon the previous one so it is important to commit to coming to as many classes as possible. It is also expected that students will practice meditation for a minimum of 40 minutes each day. There will be guidance on how to start and sustain a daily meditation practice so don't worry if you do not have a regular practice at this time. Dates will be set once we have 4-6 students signed up so the schedule meets everyone's needs. Each class will be 1-2 hours long, once a week. There will be an option to have private guidance each week and group practice and discussion.
